Pakistan has proposed the dates of June 27-29 for Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmud Qureshi's first bilateral visit to India.During the planned three-day official trip, that may include a short trip to Ajmer Sharif , Qureshi will hold talks with his Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee, at whose invitation he will be visiting India. Qureshi's call on meetings with the top Indian leadership, including PM Manmohan Singh and President Pratibha Patil, are being planned.

With Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden remaining elusive, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmud Qureshi has said the United States may be aware of his whereabouts and asked American intelligence agencies to share any information they have on him. "US may be aware of the whereabouts of Osama bin Laden," Qureshi, currently on a visit to Washington, was quoted as saying. "If the US intelligence is that clear, they should share that intelligence with us," he said.
